We will arrive at one of the most tourist sites of the Austral Highway, the Confluence of the Baker and Nef Rivers, a unique spectacle of nature. It is here where we try to appreciate an important part of the hydrology of the place, where the Bertrand Lake receives the waters of the General Carrera Lake and which in turn gives rise to the river with the largest water flow in Chile, the Baker River, which through a large water passage reaches to the Nef River. We will be able to appreciate the different shades of its waters, due to the sediment of the glaciers. To reach the confluence, we will walk approximately 5 minutes, where we will have enough time to contemplate and take the best photos of the place. Following our route, we will go to the Tamango National Reserve (which is part of the famous Patagonia Park). In the Tamango National Reserve, we will take a boat through the transparent and emerald waters of the Tamango River. Specialized people will take us through these waters, going up small rapids that form in this beautiful river. On both sides we will be accompanied by unique vegetation, mountains, and incredible landscapes. After an hour by boat, we will descend in the middle of the Tamango reserve, where we will take a small, circular hike taking advantage of contemplating the natural magic of this pristine area, native flora, wild fruits, and fauna. The boat will wait for us at the end of the walk to return along the same path with another beautiful panoramic view accompanying us on the way.
